St. Anthony Hotel

In 2015, the 105-year-old St. Anthony Hotel, known as the “Queen of San Antonio,” was meticulously restored to her former glory and re-envisioned for a new generation of luxury guests. The renovations included over 33,000 SF of guest rooms, a full-service restaurant, two bar/lounge areas, a 24-hour fitness center, a business center, and an outdoor heated pool. An increase in the guest room size resulted in a reduction in the number of rooms from 352 to 277. As part of the rehabilitation, the original Venetian-tile mosaics, sculptures, tapestries, and murals were restored rather than replaced. The beloved 1927 Steinway Piano was repurchased, rehabilitated, and returned her rightful place in Peacock Alley.  The St. Anthony is now part of the Marriott Hotel family.
