Kickapoo School

The Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas Tribal Education Department’s mission is “To provide quality educational opportunities to all tribal members from childhood to adulthood.”  In keeping with that mission, Kickapoo enlisted Pritchard Associated to help upgrade its educational facilities with a new Day Care building and a Tribal Student Services Center beginning in 2019. The project received an Architectural Portfolio award the same year for Outstanding Designs: Work in Progress. The new Tribal Student Services Center and Early Childhood Language Learning Center opened in January of 2023. The facility offers a language program, daycare and childcare services, a Head Start Program, Adult and Continuing Education Services as well as after school educational programs for GED and ESL Students.
